Born in Cincinnati in 1952, graduated from U of Cinti top of class, attended The University of Toledo Law School top fourth of class in 1978. Served 5 years in the Lucas County Prosecutors office before leaving to enter private practice.

§ Served the company as an attorney for twenty years and as a partner for sixteen years

§ Acted as a managing partner for four years utilizing legal knowledge and management skills to improve the success of the firm

§ Litigated for or against major corporations including a local bank and a privately-owned company

§ Handled cases in diverse areas including banking, foreign companies, local or state wage and hourly disputes with clients, real estate disputes and housing/contractor claims, consumer rights cases, and legal and accounting malpractice cases

§ Handled personal injury trial and litigation cases on both plaintiff and defense sides

§ Utilizing negotiation and mediation skills, effectively handled the malpractice claims against attorneys employed by the company

§ Successfully settled numerous malpractice claims without litigation to keep premium rates constant

§ Managed the hiring and terminating process of employees and attorneys, particularly focusing on the financial impact of employment changes on the firm
