Biographical Information

Charles Matz has been representing injured persons since 1996. He was born in Baltimore, and aside for time away for college and law school, he has been a lifelong resident of the Baltimore metropolitan area. After his graduation from Amherst College, he worked for two years at a law firm in Baltimore before attending the University of Virginia School of Law. Upon graduation in 1995, he had the prestigious job of serving as a law clerk for a judge on Maryland's Court of Special Appeals during the 1995–1996 term. Once his clerkship ended, he joined his father in private practice, obtaining extensive experience in representing injured persons and navigating the complex legal issues they may face.
