Charles D. Lawrence

Biographical Information

Mr. Lawrence is an Associate Attorney of Schumann, Rallo & Rosenberg, LLP. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (with a minor in English) in 1991. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 1996 from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. Mr. Lawrence is admitted to practice in all California State Courts and Federal Courts in United States District Court, Central District. He is fluent in Spanish and a member of the American Bar Association, Construction Industry Forum, Orange County Bar Association and Christian Legal Society.

Prior to joining Schumann, Rallo & Rosenberg, LLP, Mr. Lawrence handled complex litigation including long-cause trials. Mr. Lawrence has over twelve years experience as an attorney specializing in civil litigation defense. His clients over the years have ranged from Tait & Associates, Pulte Homes, Fort Hill Construction, Weather Shield Manufacturing, Precision Concrete Construction, Pacific Bay Properties (a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company), Jet Blue, Century 21 Beachside, and R.E. Job Cement Contractors in both State and Federal Courts. He has defended his clients in both State and Federal courts.

Mr. Lawrence is also experienced with general real estate and business law, including mergers, workers' compensation and employment law, as well as various aspects of environmental law. He has advised clients throughout California on issues concerning negligence, fraud, professional liability and breach of contract in the architecture/engineer and construction industries. He has handled hundreds of cases to resolution since 1996, from pre-litigation through verdict when necessary. He brings a highly-specialized knowledge to complex litigation in order to resolve issues in the most cost-effective manner with the best possible result.
