BRAZILS REAL RISES FOR A SECOND DAY BEFORE CONTRACT SETTLEMENT

Oct. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Brazil’s real rose for a second day before the settlement of a currency futures contract. The real gained 0.5 percent to 1.7235 per U.S. dollar at 7:30 a.m. New York time, from 1.7328 yesterday, when it strengthened 2.7 percent.
