BANCO ESPIRITO SANTO WANTS FIRM HELD LIABLE FOR JURY VERDICT

Almost two years ago, a Miami jury awarded Banco Espirito Santo $522 million in damages for accounting firm BDO Seidman's negligence in failing to uncover fraud at a now-defunct financial services firm, the bank was back in court Tuesday seeking to hold Belgium-based BDO International liable for the verdict as well.
