Anne Johnson Mead

Biographical Information

Anne Johnson Mead is a Divorce Lawyer and Family Law Attorney in Memphis Tennessee.

She is a graduate of the Cecil C. Humphries School of Law
at The University of Memphis where she served as a member of the Moot Court Board and the Mock Trial Team. She was published in the Tennessee Journal of Practice and Procedure, and was awarded an internship with the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's Office in Memphis, Tennessee. She was also employed as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert Lanier and the Honorable Donna Fields, Thirtieth Judicial District at Memphis.

Since graduating from law school, Her practice has been dedicated to family law in Memphis, Tennessee, begining as an associate with the Pounders Coleman Firm. She then managed her own firm until Joining Butler Sevier Hinsley & Reid PLLC in 2011.

Ms. Mead and her team are known for their ethical and effective representation in matters of divorce, child custody and other family law concerns. From our office in Memphis, we represent clients throughout the Memphis metropolitan area before the Circuit, Chancery and Juvenile Courts of Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee, as well as surrounding counties.

Her experience includes handling financially complex divorce cases through settlement and trial. She handles negotiated settlements for uncontested cases. Ms. Mead also has experience in handling cases through mediation and arbitration. She equally represents both men and women with all matters of Family Law. In addition to representing both husbands and wives in matters of divorce, our practice also includes representation of children of divorced or divorcing parents.
