Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's, London, 543 F.3d 744, No. 06-30262 (9/29/2008), rehearing en banc granted, 558 F.3d 599 (5th Cir. 2/11/2009), decision en banc, 587 F.3d 714 (5th Cir. 11/9/2009) (representing Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's, London: arbitration clauses in reinsurance contracts are enforceable by treaty irrespective of state efforts to preclude such enforcement). Petition for writ of certiorari filed by opposition was denied by the United States Supreme Court. This opinion provided the foundation for the 2010 ABA National Moot Court Competition.
